Fantastic Scenery of Koh Samui, Thailand

Hello friends,

Really bad traffic in Bangkok today. I'm very busy this month and Haven't post new images of beautiful Thailand travel places for a while. So, Today i will show you some images of one of the most favorite Thailand Island which is "Koh Samui". I've visited for the first time earlier this year and this island incorporated with beautiful beach and natural site which suitable for all travellers. Let see some images of interesting travel spots of Koh Samui including Grandfather Rock, Thousand Hand Guan Yin, Lamai Beach and Chaweng Beach that i've taken from my Sony DSC WX1.

Charming of Chiang Mai City Center

Hello Friends,

Chiang Mai is the province in the northern region of Thailand. This province is very popular in its mountain scenery as there're many beautiful mountain situated around the area of this province. However, many interesting place also situated in the city center of Chaing Mai as well especially the historical sites because this province has been founded more than 700 years ago. Today, i'm gonna tell you about charming places that you can't miss in the city center of this province.

1. Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep
The pagoda of this temple is the symbol of Chiang Mai and this temple situated in Doi Suthep mountain in the city center of Chiang Mai as many travellers have to visit this historical site to pray and respect to the pagoda for good luck. It can be said that if you come to Chaing Mai and you don't visit this temple, it will be deemed that you have never come to this province.

2. Chiang Mai Zoo
Situated at the foothill of Doi Suthep, this zoo is very popular for travellers in the past 2 years because it is the home of the pandas family named Chuang Chuang, Lin Hui and Lin Bing which is the highlight of this zoo. Also, the new aquarium which is the one of the biggest aquarium in Thailand already opened.

3. Tha Pae Walking Street
This is one of the most famous shopping street in the northern region of Thailand. Situated at Tha Pae Gate in the city center, this walking street opens every Sunday evening as you will see many travellers looking for traditional souvenirs and handcraft products. And Of course, every products selling in Tha Pae can be bargained that is the reason why tourists love this walking street.

4. Khantoke Dinner
"Khantoke" is the name of traditional dinner set of local people it the northern region of Thailand. There're many restaurant in the city center serving Khantoke dinner together with "Lanna" traditional show. Then, you can enjoy delicious dinner in Lanna style with the great traditional show but keep in mine that the price for Khantoke restaurant is quite expensive for budget travellers.

There're still many interesting place in this fantastic northern region and i will tell you on my next post.

Sangklaburi "Unseen Thailand" Fantastic Scenery

Hello Friends,

During winter holiday season, the most favourite destinations for travellers nowadays is Pai district in Mae Hong Son which you may face traffic jam along the way from Chaing Mai to Pai. Then, if you want to avoid such problem, i recommend to you one of the city that has similar atmosphere to Pai District and the place i talk about is Sangklaburi in Kanchanaburi province.

Generally, this district is not very popular for travellers because it is far away from Kanchanaburi town center (Muang District) around 230 kilometers as you habe to drive around 5-6 hours from Bangkok and 3 hours form Kanchanaburi town center.

How to go to Sangklaburi
-From Kanchanaburi town center (Muang Distict) take highway number 323 (the route of Kanchanaburi – Thong Phaphum) as the distance is around 145 kilometers.

-After arrived at Thong Phaphum district, you must turn right and drive around 85 kilometers, then, you will reach Sangklaburi.

Please note that the distance from Thong Phaphum to Sangklaburi is hilly mountain route, then, this route required high skill driver only.

 In Sangklaburi, you will see dramatic scenery mainly generated by Khao Laem Dam and Song Kalia River. Today i will show you some beautiful images of Sangklaburi and i will tell you about the detail of interesting spot in this district on my next post. Let see the images and i guarantee that you will love this small city.

Discover Nan Province Part 1 "Khun Nan National Park

Hello Everybody,

Winter is coming and the targeted destination for most travellers are cities in the northern area of Thailand in order to experience cold weather during winter period. Of course, favorite destination for all travellers will be Chaing Mai, Chaing Rai and Mae Hong Son especially Pai District. If you want to avoid any busy and more traveller in those province during winter season, i have another province in the northern area of Thailand to present to you and the place is "Nan" province situated near Laos border.

Today. i'm going give you an introduction to Nan's one of interesting travel place that you can't miss when visiting this province which is call "Khun Nan National Park".

This place situated in Bo Klaue district which is approximately 110 kilometers from Nan town center (Muang District). Generally, it is famous in the dramatic secenery of the Wa River (approximately 25 Kilometers across) together with many waterfall including Sapan, Huay Ha and Huay Tee waterfall. The summit point of this national park is "Doi  Phi Pan Nam" which is 1,745 meters above the sea.

Sapan Waterfall is the most outstanding and biggest waterfall in this national park. It is easy for travellers to discover this beautiful this waterfall because you need to drive only for 10 kilometers from Ba Klaue town center and walking aroud 800 meters then you will see this fantastic waterfall and 1 kilometer from Sapan waterfall, then, you will arrive at Ban Den waterfall

Huay Tee Waterfall has been divided in 6 tiers covering by abundant  forest and the most beautiful tier recommended by most traveller is in the third 3 tier.

Those 3 waterfalls are only the example of interesting spots in Khun Nan national park. If you have more time, you can reach to the viewpoint of this national park and you will see amazing scenery of this national park.
It can be say that the dramatic scenery of Khun Nan National Park mainly created by the Wa River generating many beautiful waterfall including Sapan Waterfall and Hauy Tee Waterfall. This national park is recommend especially for travellers who really want to avoid riot during winter and new year holiday season.

How to go to Khun Nan National Park
-From Nan Town Center, driving from highway number 1169 and follow the sigh post to Bo Klaue district as the distance from town center to Bo Klaue is around 108 kilometers.
-Then, from Bo Klaue, driving to highway number 1081 (the route of Bo Klaue to Chaloem Phrakiat) and you will reach the National Park Headquarter.

Talay Nai "The Wonderful of Natural Creation" at Koh AngThong

Hello Everybody,

Generally, Koh Angthong is the name of Natural Park incorporating with many minor island like Koh Wau Ta Lab the biggest island of Koh Angthong where the Nation Park Office situated and many more islands. Today, i'm gonna tell you about one of the most famous island of Mo Koh Angthong known as Mae Koh Island where you can discover the amazing creation of nature. Such creation is called "Talay Nai or Inner Lagoon"

Talay Nai is the gorgeous creation of nature in Bay of Thailand. It situated at Mae Koh island, one of the island of Koh Angthong. Talay Nai or the lagoon inside the mountain surrounded by limestone mountain. As the size of this wonderful place is approximately 250 meters long, 200 meters wide and deep 7 meters. Moreover, this lagoon is connected with the outer sea via the underground cave.

There're 2 separate ways to see this lagoon. First on is to discover the surface of the inner lagoon and the second one is walking to the viewpoint to experience beautiful scenery of this wonderful site as you see from the right image.

I think the inner lagoon is wonderful place as i've never seen this kind of natural creation in my life. At the surface of lagoon, you will discover  fantastic scenery of light blue color  of lagoon water. Then, walking around 150 meters from the beach of Mae Koh Island, you will reach to the viewpoint of Mae Koh Island where you can discover outstanding viewpoint of this island seeing Talay Nai from the summit point of the mountain.

After walking from this viewpoint to the beach where you vessel waiting for you, i recommended that if you have time left, you may choose to continue you snorkeling at this island.
