My Memory of Hau Hin Hotel

During the long weekend between 5-7 December 2008, i have a chance to visit my favorite place when i was young the place is "Hau Hin" as the distance is about 2 hours from Bangkok.

Around 20 years ago, Hau Hin is the first place that i've ever seen the beautiful sea in my life at that time there're just a few hotel in Hau Hin and the area is quite privacy. The hotel that i visited when i was 2 years old called "Sailom Hotel" as i remembered the price of this hotel at that time is around 800-1200 baht per night but today the price is around 2800-3900 per night (This price is still reasonable for the year 2008 as compare to other 4 stars hotels). Even though, there are many new and comfortable hotels in Hau Hin but i still love this hotel for its own privacy beach. As the changing for this hotel is the new salt water pool which look luxury.

The first impression for Sailom hotel is its own beach with beautiful seaview. Secondly, the rooms are very clean but the most outstanding issue for Sailom Hotel is its restaurant. Sailom hotel are most keen on its restaurant because the food are very fresh and delicious with reasoable price as you must try its frsh and delicious seafood. Moreover, the restaurant is situated near the sea which you may feel the great atmosphere of Hau Hin beach.

Koh Samui The Spirit of Thailand Island

Koh Samui situated approxiemately 85 km from Surat Thani province and about 700 km from Bangkok. It is the second largest island in Gulf of Thailand (the largest is Koh Chang). Koh Samui is sometime known as "Coconut Island" because of its large number of coconut trees. The attraction of this island is its serene natural environment combining with rain forest areas, fantastic coconut plantations, beautiful waterfalls etc. For the beach, the most outstanding beach in this island is Chaweng Beach as this place is reknown for its fantastic nightlife where you can find great pub & party.

For natural lover, The thing that you shouldn't miss is day trips into mountainous jungle interior of the samui island especially the Na Muang and Na Muang II waterfall. The best reasons for visiting Koh Samui is the sea water because the waters of this fantastic island are crystal clear which is a good idea for snorkeling and scuba diving. If you've never been scuba diving, there're many scuba diving school waiting for you.

To learn the life of local people of Koh Samui, you have to visit Koh Samui's oldest village in Ban Thale. The structure of this village was made of teakwood without the use of any nails. Lastly, i would said that Koh Samui has a lot to offer the travellers including luxury villas, beautiful beaches, great waterfall and many more. Therefore, Find Koh Samui Holiday Package Now!

Krabi Thailand Top 10 Attractions

In the far south of Thailand, Krabi is the poster child for Thailand's natural coastal beauty. It’s also near Phuket. The scenery is overflowing with remarkable outcroppings of limestone that produce framing cliffs and peculiar formations. In the resort area, the pace is much slower than in other Thai hotspots, with a market that caters more for relaxed travellers and families who would prefer to stay away from the party scene of some of Thailand’s beaches.
Daytrip to Wat Tham SeuaIf the heat and humidity aren't too overwhelming, a trip to Wat Tham Seua, or Tiger Cave Temple, is a must. In fact, in spite of the heat, you may want to venture out to see this site in order to explore the cool maze of caves in which Buddhist monks live and worship. A climb up this Ao Luk Thanu limestone mountain to the summit affords a look at the pagoda, 'Buddha's footprint' and spectacular vistas of the countryside.

Rock climbing The rock climbing scene at Krabi is fit for all skill levels, with something for everyone. Climbers come from all over the world for the unique karst structures and limestone cliffs, many of which are well marked and bolted for climbers. One of the most popular sites is at Ton Sai Beach, but it’s possible to go climbing at any number of places around Krabi, especially when collaborating with a local rock climbing company. If you're not sure of your abilities, don’t be too shy to enrol in one of the instructional classes offered.

Koh Lanta Marine National Park Pristine rainforests and more lovely Krabi beach options can be found on the island of Koh Lanta, which is also a marine national park. The most striking aspect of this island is that it's home to the nomadic tribe of Chae Leh, also called sea gypsies, who have practiced their own distinct religion and spoken their unique language for centuries. There are plenty of relaxed bungalow settings for those who want to stay a while. Visitors from as far away as Phuket come to visit.

Than Bok Khoranie National Park Taking a day to check out Than Bok Khorani National Park is a worthwhile endeavour, especially if you're interested in the diversity of plant life here, from small gardenias to towering trees. The highlight of the park is the green-hued pond that is the namesake for the park. Beyond the pond is the area's standard fare of limestone formations, caves and mangrove trees. While the park does not offer accommodation, camping is permitted if you bring your own equipment. It’s also an easy drive to and from Phuket.

Shell Fossil Cemetery A few miles out of Krabi Town, you'll find the archaeological site known as the Shell Fossil Cemetery. This marvel has been under construction for the past 35 million years and has grown into a huge slab of fossilised snail remains more than 15 inches thick. The site of this former swamp can be found at Ban Laem Pho Cape, which is located about 10 miles from Krabi Town.

Exploring the archipelago An organised tour of the archipelago is a wonderful way to spend a day, and with your itinerary in the hands of a local tour guide, you can be sure to find wonderful scenery and some great secluded Krabi beach choices. Another way to explore the islands close to Ao Nang Beach is to hire a sea kayak and paddle out to them yourself. This is a good way to get away from the crowds in the resort area and catch some peace along with spectacular scenery.

Scuba diving If you're a certified diver, you'll probably want to jump right in as soon as you arrive in Krabi. The reputation of the nearby Andaman Islands and the wealth of coral reefs fuel much enthusiasm in this area, and there's no shortage of diving companies to take divers on day and longer trips. Snorkelling is also worthwhile, and those wishing to pick up a diving certificate can enrol in a four-day course. Many of the Phuket dive trips end up here.

Railay Beach Longtail boats can be hired to take passengers out to Railay Beach, which is barred from the mainland by massive cliffs that make it only accessible by sea. There are a few resorts set up along these beautiful beaches, and Phra Nang, a sacred cave, is one of the area's principle attractions.

Biking Cycling is a wonderful way to open up the inland countryside, and a 15 or 20 mile loop out of Ao Nang will take you into coconut groves, past quiet villages and in and around the karst outcroppings of rock before bringing you back to the resort. Bicycles can be rented for the whole day at Ao Nang beach in Krabi.

Krabi nightlife Visitors don't generally come to Krabi for the nightlife; instead they're either here for the stunning geological landscape or the chance to relax in a quieter environment that is more conducive to families. Krabi Town itself has very few tourist establishments, with most of the action confined to a mile-long stretch of beach at the Ao Nang resort area. While there aren't any discos or wild parties, there are plenty of nice restaurants with good seafood and a relaxed atmosphere. The bars in the busiest sector of this beach stay open past midnight.

My Trip to Doi Pha Hom Pok

Doi Pha Hom Pok (Pha Hom Pok Mountaian) situated in Chaing Mai as this mountain is the second highest mountain in Thailand.

I started my trip to Doi Pha Hom Pok from the city center of Chang Mai driving my Honda Civic 04 about 160 kilometers from the city center and then i arrived at Fang District. At first, my plan is to drive my Honda Civic to the top of the mountain but when i asked the local people they told me that you can't drive this car to the top of Doi Pha Hom Pok because the road to the top of mountain is very high and slove.

Then, i park my Honda Civic at the Mae Fang Natural Park and hire 4wd truck to take me and my friends to the top of this Mountain (there're many 4wd truck available for hire at the Mae Fang Natural Park). About 1 hour from Mae Fang Naturak Park, i arrived at the camping area of Doi Pha Hom Pok as the weather here is great but quite cold for me (However i like this kind of weather). I could sleep for now because i must walk up at 3 Am in order to trekking to the top of Doi Pha Hom Pok to see the beautiful sunrise in the morning.

On the the next day, i woke up at 3.30 Am which is litte bit late because many travellers already start their journey to the top of Pha Hom Pok, therfore, we have to start our journey by ourselves. The road to the top of mountain is very cold and dark that we can't see anything and when we walk about 90 minutes the battery of the spotlight is now empty (Oh my God). For Now, we can't see anything and nobody walking around, it's looking we lost in a jungle.

Fortunately, i still have my sony ericsson k750 as i use it little camera light to show me the way. At this time, i start to shout in order to ask anybody for help and then i hear the sound of people who already arrive at the top of Doi Pha Hom Pok. Surely, i follow that sound and finally i arrived at the top of Doi Pha Hom Pok (approximately 3 hours from the camping area.) At the Top, i can see the most beautiful sunrise that i've ever seen in my life and the weather at the top is colder than camping area. I feel like i want to stay here all day because the viewpoint is very fantastic for me.

Lastly i want to tell you that anyone who like to travel to fantastic mountain, you must come to Doi Pha Hom Pok and you will always remember this place.

Koh Chang "The Jewel of the East" Thailand Island

Welcome Travellers,

This is my first post and i'm gonna tell you about Thailand Island which is known as "The Jewel of the East" Koh Chang.
The Magnificant Thailand Island is not only situated in southern region but also in the eastern region and "Koh Chang" is one of the best Island in the east. As i've been there for 3 times, i found that Koh Chang is very easy to get there and quite comfortable by using ferry service. Thus, i need only weekend holiday to get to beatiful seaside of Koh Chang.

In fact, there're many great beaches with different sytles at Koh Chang but my favorite beach is "Kai Bae Beach" due to its very beautiful colored sea and white sandy beach which make me fascinated. I've been to Kai Bae for 2 times and i think i'm gonna be there again. Spending you weekend at Kai Bae beach Koh Chang is very good idea for anyone who like privacy beach.

Koh Chang is one of the district in Trat Province which situated in the east of Thailand as the nearest point between Trat Province and the island is only 8 km from the Laem Ngob Cape.

Nowadays, Koh Chang has been developed into new haven for tourist as its beautiful landscape is second to none and it is very easy to get there (just 4 hours from Bangkok) as compare to legendary Thailand Island Phuket.

Accommodation on this island is very easy to find and there are various kinds of accommodation from general beach huts and bungalows to luxury hotels and apartments. You may hire Motorbikes, jeeps and cars in order to take you to any beaches and it is great idea to drive along the coastal roads as you may experience the beautiful seaside and white sand of this outstanding Thailand Island.

Interesting Spot

I went to this Island for 2 times and i found that there are many beautiful beaches which you can't find in European countries.

White Sand Beach : As specify by its name, you will see the long range of white sand with blue sea. During the low tide period, the wide range of purely white seaside will be presented which is very attractive for every seaside sport like volleyball. Moreover, the white sand beach is the busiest beach in Koh Chang because it cover which many types of accommodatin from luxury hotels to low cost guesthouse. In my opinion, it can be said that white sand beach is "the Capital" of Koh Chang Thailand Island.

Klong Prao Beach: This beach is situated next to white sand beach. You will see many coconut trees along with seaside and this beach is also beautiful seaside lanscape and not many people here.

Kai Bae Beach: While White Sand beach is busiest and funniest area in Koh Chang, Kai Bae beach is sleepy seaside location in Koh Chang which is suitable for traveller who love unique and privacy area. (it's the best beach in Koh Chang in my opinion) This beach cover with many palm tree. (as you seen on the first image image above) Therefore, it's suitable to read your favorite book under the shade of palm tree along with beautiful sandy seaside. There are many relaxing activities in this area especially sea kayaks which is favorite actvity for travellers.

Bang Bao Beach: Generally, Bangbao is the fisherman village which you can hire affordable price speed boat to take you to many coral islands of Koh Chang for snorkel or scuba.

In my opinion, Koh Chang is the the place that you can find various life styles. You may find great night life at white sand beach while you may feel relaxing at Kai Bae Beach or if you want snorkelling or scuba, you can go to Bang Bao and hire affordable price speed boat to many beautiful minor islands of Koh Chang.
